Selected as finalist for OXALIS DEPPEI — a dual-stage air filtration and purification system designed to address indoor and industrial air quality challenges using sustainable, efficient engineering principles.
COMPETITION
The Danfoss Innovator Award is an industry-level challenge by Danfoss's University Engagement Team, inviting student teams to pitch innovative engineering solutions in energy efficiency, sustainability, and industrial technology.
CONTRIBUTION
Team project from VIT Chennai — contributed to system design, technical documentation, and the innovation pitch for the dual-stage filtration concept evaluated at finalist level by Danfoss industry experts.
OUTCOME — Recognised as a Finalist among competing university teams nationwide. The project OXALIS DEPPEI was evaluated by Danfoss industry experts and shortlisted at the finalist stage of the 2025 edition.

Robooceana is a national-level autonomous underwater/surface robotics competition held at Shaastra — the annual technical festival of IIT Madras, one of India's premier engineering institutions. Selected for the Grand Finale from competing teams across the country.
CONTRIBUTION
Contributed as the electronics team member for a Raspberry Pi-based hovercraft — responsible for onboard electronics integration, sensor interfacing, and the embedded control system powering the autonomous vehicle.
SYSTEM
Raspberry Pi-based hovercraft with embedded control for navigation and actuation — integrating motor drivers, sensor modules, and wireless communication for the competition task environment.
OUTCOME — Awarded Certificate of Excellence at the Grand Finale of Robooceana, Shaastra 2024, IIT Madras. Recognition of team's technical build quality and performance in a nationally competitive robotics event.
